Pressure
03:05
|
|||
I've got pressure on my head,
pressure on my heart
there's a pressure on myself, that's clear
I've got pressure on my feet,
pressure on my chest
Pressure on my veins and nerves
Drained out mothers sing a lullaby
to make their babies sleep,
and for a while forget humanity's
rush to the abyss
Father, I've got nowhere else to go
than into your strong arms
We cry together, oh, in misery
for people's lack of faith
There's a pressure down on everyone
to be saved and to be free
But has one ever reached the final gate
when love was out of sight?
Rest yourself now, no regrets!
No more cries for help
In your heart there is a place
that ease your pains and fears
Ease the pressure
release your feet
and fly out to the night
You will see the fireflies
guide you into the light

You
03:02
|
|||
You - you are the sun of my life
You bring me the light
You shine - you are the light!
But every time that I pass by, the clouds appear, black in the sky
You ...
You ...
You're brave enough to be with everyone, even those
who are not even close to your inner light. You never fight,
when rain comes by, blacken the sky,
you open your rain coat and get soaked
You are always on my mind

Bring your love to me
03:01
|
|||
Come! Bring your love to me!
We come in two pieces:
One is steel and one is wood
One is bad and one is good
We're in two pieces:
One is living, one is dead
One is heart and one is head
Bring your love to me,
I want it more than one can tell
I am stuck here somewhere
in between heaven and hell
Bring your love to me!
Come! Bring your love to me!
Just bring your love to me
To bridge divides
you need to decide
who you want to be
A separate thing
or no other thing
but you

All is well
02:27
|
|||
do not worry, all is well
no more sorrow, all is well
hear now, what I have to say,
no more worries, all is well!
take my hand and bid farewell
to things that inside you yell
clock is ticking, heart as well
no more anguish, all is well
thoughts they come and then they go
leave no traces, if you want so
row your boat steady and slow
on the stream of life, now go!
let it all be, all is well
no more worries, all is well
this is what I have to say
do not worry, all is well!

From too much love of living,
From hope and fear set free,
We thank with brief thanksgiving
Whatever gods may be
That no life lives for ever;
That dead men rise up never;
That even the weariest river
Winds somewhere safe to sea.
Then star nor sun shall waken,
Nor any change of light:
Nor sound of waters shaken,
Nor any sound or sight:
Nor wintry leaves nor vernal,
Nor days nor things diurnal;
Only the sleep eternal
In an eternal night.
Here, where the world is quiet;
Here, where all trouble seems
Dead winds' and spent waves' riot
In doubtful dreams of dreams;
I watch the green field growing
For reaping folk and sowing,
For harvest-time and mowing,
A sleepy world of streams.
But even the weariest river
winds somewhere safe to sea.
“The Garden of Proserpine,” a poem by Algernon Charles Swinburne (1866)

Hey, little drummer
05:51
|
|||
Hey, little drummer boy,
Don't bang on your toy,
you'll never grow up
Hey, little drummer girl
Don't beat on your skin
you'll never get in
You've already seen
how the world has been
and what it will become
in the bitter end
But you just bang the drum,
you go on and on
But there is no need
to be infantile
Let's spend the days
in reality
Little drummer boy,
you need to start to grow
Remember, you're a membrane
don't push it
you'll become insane
Remember, take it calmly
with your army
Don't make it any bigger now
Remember, remember ...

A space of love
04:13
|
|||
When it feels like you're falling into a hole
Low and distressed, as if you've lost your own soul
Crawl up and put your feet on the ground
Take a deep breath, and slowly lean back
Look up in the sky
Up in the clear, blue sky
Holding the dark cloud is a vast space of love
From newborn to the very last breath
You know you are alive and that is a fact
All else is a time-bound and worldly affair
Which you have to cope with, whatever you want
You grow up, now standing on your own legs
But others are using them for their own sake
To find some freedom in this prison of life
Lean your head back and open your eyes
Look up in the sky
Up in the clear, deep sky
Looking back at you is your own true self
To the daughter I never had
I would have had so much to tell you, girl
But the words now hang loosely in the air
Stored in our common space of love
A space of love

I'm more than willing to be the revolution
But every man and women need to be it, too
And there's not one way, not one big solution
But every man and every woman need to be changing
Changing the world from the inside out

Spiraling down on my wings
In the middle of the whirlwind
Looking for the eye of the storm
Chaos made me take this form
Find the deep cry within you
and let it weep
Find the eye of the storm within you
and comply with it
Hey, hey, weyonwah, weyonwah, hey
There's a pressure down on me
I feel it, and let it be
It is a part of who I am
Now I takeoff and I move on
Spiraling down on my wings
In the middle of the whirlwind
Looking for the eye of the storm
Chaos made me take this form
Hey, hey, weyonwah, weyonwah, hey
Hey, hey, weyonwah, weyonwah, hey

Sometimes we fall in love
but some pieces don't end up right
so gradually love begins to fade
Sometimes we shed a tear
for no other reason than to cry
Sometimes it falls and have to fall a tear
We cannot always see when love looses its hold
or how another notion starts to grow
Those words of love that you told in trust back then
were they really meant for me at all?
Sometimes we fall in love
but sometimes love breaks down in pieces
That's maybe why I shed a tear tonight
